Thanks to our friend Nighthawk, he is the C&C Guild Division Leader and for spotlighting YR:ZH mod to the revora's network bar. Captioned as Win, this is a good opportunity for everyone for the FS network to be more recognized in the community. Thanks for everyone also for supporting this mod, and as of now the development is still not finished even its released.
As I always said, check the forums for more info for the next development and check also other FS mods here, we have great mods and please support them too.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, children of all ages. I present to you all the official beta release of the YR:ZH mod!
It was years since the mod was created, from Red Alert 2: Generals (RA2) to Yuri's Revenge: Zero Hour (YR). Everyone is excited to play the mod, everyday I get spam mails regarding the release dates. So Download it now!

New Changes in the mod

Well yes, despite of struggling with time because of real life (universities, thesis, etc...) I am still working on with the mod. Pls understand if my deadline wasn't met. I am just making sure that the Mod will be playable 100% even the AI who can also play and execute just 80% because of game limitations. I am making the mod to be more good and it will be the pride of FS for sure.
As of now, I am really needing some artists who can transform the mod into the Zero Hour effect should be. I can do much stuff but my talents right now is really limited if quality speaking. 3D artists, SHP artists, Voxel Artists who can work part time in the mod. Graphic donations like animations would do also.
In other news, Psychic General will be out for this version and Demolitions will be replaced. Making it more basic to all and YR:ZH'ish. The some units will be removed and Side concepts will be changed.
New units were added to each of the Generic Sides, more graphical changes, coding and prerequisites. Check out the forums for more details.
You can also contribute by posting comments and other things that will make the mod good.

Yes I'm back again working on the mod, and guess what. YR:Zero Hour now have a mod soundtrack. Introducing new mod staff, PajuluS. He is really grateful creating this in his time and effort for the refurbishing of the mod by his music. You can hear all of it here in imeem.
We have also other news about the development, if you check our forums its there. I am having hard time again finding a moment on working on the mod with these new university opportunities like 3D and other stuff.
The news title says it all, and yes the release is coming soon. This will be only the beginning of the end ^__^
EMP's New Site...

I am preparing some epic moves within the past few days. In preparation for the new FS, I already made my move. One of that is the new layout, and Fen's new links. The site is merged with the Freedom Studios domain and the old link (http://exile.freedomstudios.net) redirects to this link (http://www.freedomstudios.net/sites/exile). I have change my site's identity and turn it to EMP as for modding and I'm using the Exile Productions for my other hub. My sites uses alpha transparency, Internet Explorer 6 users may see some white or black spaces in images.
And for other news, I put my priorities on one mod at a time. And also I disbanded/removed/canceled some of my old dusty mods who are in development or hiatus for such a long time. One of it is my C&C Exile and a TS mod, you can look at EMP's site for more info to that drama. And the team based mod mahaira is also removed in my list. Well that's all for today, I will have an update for YR:Zero Hour next week and others. My finals ending will be at the 20th, after that I will have more time Modding YR:ZH again. Hey guys, I'm back with new updates to all sides. I made this news today more soviet/yuri scheme because most of the updates are to them. About this website, I might have the Vanilla Side pages a revamp. I might post the entire Side Content (Allied Buildings, Armory, Infantry etc...). It may take time after I finished with some graphical changes with each every Units/buildings. Okay back to the mod update, I will start of some small Allied updates.
This is the Allied Hacker, in C&C Generals it has known for its hacking ability to take money in internet. Well due to limitations, I made this as an offensive and defensive unit. Its Primary ability is to Temporarily capture structures, and the second ability is to disable enemy vehicles types. This unit have its side-effect, it can only capture buildings in small range. And its Rate of Fire is very high and for balance issues this unit is very expensive. This can be build at Barracks, Air Force Command and Battle Lab.

Now with the Soviets!
The New Soviet Swatter Site, this will be the final tier base defense for soviet. It has long range and powerful anti-tank swatter missiles. The missiles are unguided so it may miss. You can upgrade the Swatter Site with the Lock On missile upgrade increasing its firepower and accurate hit.
New Graphical Changes for the Apocalypse and Tesla Tanks
New nuke payload animations. This does not change the Nuclear Reactor deathweapon animation.

And now introducing the long awaited Yuri sides. I mostly worked with this side but I don't release news for this. I'm basing my mod's balancing to this.
I made the Aircraft Pad's replace the Soviet Radar, and Psychic Radar.
The Aircraft Factory/Radar building is now similar from the allies.
I have massive Yuri Update, pictures says more than words.

Well, I made some few mod updates and it is now posted in the Other Changes section. I have already compiled it and I might update it a little if there are still changes.
For everyone who clicks a page and says 404, it means that the page isn't unlocked yet or I'm still doing it.

Not much of mod updates lately, I making them hidden for a while. I am working with little Yuri stuff and some Allied and Soviet ones. I am late for my deadline of finishing Nuke General and the Vanilla Soviet and all will be left is the AI.
I also added select sounds for buildings and some sound effects to added or recent animations, warheads, weapons.
Infantry General page is unlocked, you can click the picture above to check in it.
And last for the media update is for the coming Yuri's Revenge: Zero Hour General's Cast. This will feature 9 Generals including the 3 more incoming for the next one. This will replace the old images of C&C Generals Zero Hour's generals. The casting is still on planning stage and for more information you can visit this thread.

Soviet War Machine...

Summer here is fast approaching and every a day passes, its getting more hotter. Well that doesn't stop me to mod, unless my friend invites me to play Cod 4. lol
Anyway, new changes to the game especially the nuclear radiation and more to the Nuke General. Nuke buildings or nuke capable vehicles will have some nuke effect. The old green toxic will now be replaced with an orange radiation. The green toxic effect will be used for the Yuri Toxin General.
In the recent news post, I posted a bunch of cameos of Nuke General units.
Some of them are already refurbished and I also added new ones. Nuke General's tradition will have nuclear trefoils. Previous Nuke Rhino Tank cameo will be used for the Nuclear Tank Upgrade. Coding is still on process.
The Tactical Nuke Mig's cameo is also changed. The too much contrast version is now removed.
Nuke Siege Chopper has now a newly updated turret.
And last for the Nuke General for today is the Nuke Bomber.
from Old to New
Also a small update for the Tank General units.
The Rhino Tank Refit and The Premier Apocalypse Tank. The Tank General Rhino Tank will have two burst of shells at start and 3 when elite.
Premier Apocalypse have tank crushing ability and also increase armor, missile range/speed and firepower.
I can't still tell when will be the release, the schedule are still tight and school again eats most of the time. Most of the Allied and Soviet refurbishing updates are almost complete so expect less Allied and Soviet and more for Yuri. For the next news, new pages will be unlocked. New Yuri updates and I will be starting at Toxin General.
This Thursday I will be out, for a day and have some party and I might post back the updates this weekend. Well another good week to all.![]()
YR:ZH Saturday News

Small update for the YR:ZH, not much but the cameo icons that I will show you will tell most of it.
Well yes, with those nuke trefoil's its Nuke General alright. I scrapped out some of the old crappy cameos and made these only for placeholders. So I might create a better versions of these. With those nukes, their weapons had also changed. And for some units that you see? Well the hacker is an allied unit that disables vehicles and buildings and I might find a way to put that infantry in the final list after some coding fixes. The Infantry General Bison Tank has a new voxel image for it made also by MartinKiller (MK). You can see the differences.
